Pvt. Parker Milo Mattocks

 

 

 

 

Parker Milo Mattocks was born May 15, 1915 to William Daniel and Clara Emmaline Messerli Mattocks. He died Feb. 1, 1945 and is buried in Fort William McKinley, Manila, the Philippines and has a cenotaph in Wadena Cemetery, Wadena, IA.

Pvt. Mattocks served in World War II with the U.S. Army 129th Infantry, 37th Division and was KIA in Pampanga Province, Central Luzon, Philippines. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
