Col. Jesse Marshall Back in Sioux City After Army Service

Col. Jesse E. Marshall of the law firm of Shull, Marshall & Shull is back in Sioux City after nearly four years of army service.

While technically Col. Marshall is on “terminal leave” and he still is a member of the armed forces, his active army service id virtually at an end.

Col. Marshall rendered notable service as commanding officer of the sixth district of the Seventh service command in charge of internal security for Colorado and Wyoming. His headquarters were at Denver.

The high favor in which he was held in Denver was indicated at a farewell banquet in his honor.

He proudly displays a fine wrist watch that was given him by Denver officials and citizens. His standing in the army was demonstrated by his promotion to a full colonelcy just before his leaving his post.

Mrs. Marshall returned to Sioux City with him, and they have resumed housekeeping at 3009 Valley Drive.
