Lt. Robert George Marner

 

 

Robert George Marner was born July 18, 1920 to Lee Willis and Georgia Mabel “Mabel” Traycy Marner. He died Sept. 25, 1943 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO.

Lt. Marner served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 419th Bomb Squadron, 301st Bomb Group and was MIA/KIA/FOD near Bolzano, Italy on a mission out of Oudna Air Base in Tunisia.
