Wayne Franklin LeGore was born Feb. 3, 1911 to John Franklin and Maude E. Fitz LeGore. He died Dec. 3, 1983 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

His Obituary:

Webster City—Services for Wayne F. LeGore, 72, Wallingford and Webster City, will be held Tuesday at the Congregational Church in Webster City, the Rev. Alva Hohl officiating. Internment will be at Graceland Cemetery at Webster City. He died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1983 at Holy Family Hospital following a short illness. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City until 9 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church. Military graveside rites will be observed by American Legion Post 191 of Webster City. LeGore was born Feb. 3, 1911 at Rockwell City, the son of John and Maude (Fitz) LeGore. He graduated from Rockwell City High School, University of Minnesota, University of Iowa School of Pharmacy in 1940. He served in the United States Navy in World War Two. In March 1941 he was united in marriage with Betty Bobst who preceded him in death in 1969. In 1973 he was married to Carol Osher in Wallingford.

LeGore was a druggist in Webster City for 33 years and since 1970 has been a relief druggist for various area pharmacies. He was a member of the Rockwell City Baptist Church; the University of Iowa Alumni Association; American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars; National Pharmaceutical Association an also the Iowa Pharmaceutical Association.
