Sgt. Tillman Otto Lawr

 

 

Tillman Otto Lawr was born Dec. 27, 1920 to Sidney E. and Sylvia Davis Lawr. He died Feb. 2, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.

Sgt. Lawr served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps Headquarters Squadron, 1st Combat Crew Replacement Center and was MIA/FOD/KIA in Europe as a crew member on a B-17 (Flying Fortress) which was lost on a weather reconnaissance mission. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
