Our Men in Service
Four men from the Sioux City area have been inducted into the army at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. They include Merle W. Miller of Sergeant Bluff, Vernon O’Meara of Oto, Jerry L. Larkin of Moville and LeRoy E. Quintard of Lawton.

Moville, Iowa—Private Jerry Larkin spent a few hours with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Larkin. He is enroute to Burbank, Cal., to join his twin brother, Corporal Jack Larkin.
