Joseph John Lamansky was born Jan. 19, 1917 to Harry George and Gertrude Agnes Kaska Lamansky. He died Dec. 30, 1943 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.
Lt. Lamansky served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 711th Bomber Squadron, 447th Bomber Group, heavy and was MIA/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
