Lyle Nelson Klink was born Jan. 26, 1922 to John August and Linda McCullough Klink. He died Dec. 15, 1945 and is memorialized at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Klink served with the U.S. Navy in World War II and was MIA/KIA in the Kurile Islands. He remains On Eternal Patrol aboard the submarine USS S-44 which was sunk during an engagement with an enemy destroyer.
