Merle Lee Kline was born May 30, 1919 to Willie and Mildred Myers Kline. He died June 10, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
Sgt. Kline served in World War II with the U.S. Army 357th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart.
