Richard Lynn Kestler was born Feb. 15, 1908 to John Frank and Grace Omega Carter Kestler. He died Sept. 5, 1945 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Capt. Kestler served in World War II as a doctor with the Dental Corps and died in New Malir, India as the result off a vehicle accident when the jeep in which he was riding as a passenger overturned.
