Sgt. Gerald L. Keran

 

 

Gerald L. Keran was born Feb. 8, 1922 to Wallace Raleigh and Fannie Victoria Tuttle Keran. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and is buried in Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy and is memorialized in East Union Cemetery, Union NE.

Sgt. Keran served in World War II with the U.S. Army 16th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
