His Obituary:

George Kelly, 69, died July 15, 1995. The body was cremated. Private family graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Graceland Cemetery, with Rev. Donald Ripley officiating. Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.

George William Kelly, son of Ed and Cordie Washam Kelly, was born Nov. 10, 1925, at Salisbury, Mo. He received his education in Salisbury. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1948 in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. On Jan. 8, 1953, he married Evelyn Mae Jondal in Webster City. The couple resided in Webster City. He had been employed at the Forrester Dairy and Hunter Oil Co. His wife died in May of 1977. He was employed for the City of Webster City for several years, retiring in 1991.

He is survived by daughter, Barbara Anderson, Webster City; stepson, Larry Kennedy, Des Moines; stepdaughters, Linda Golladay, LeMars, Patricia Crawford, East Dubuque, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Kelly, North Kansas City, Mo., Jack Kelly, Vacaville, Calif.; sisters, Isabelle Esry, Raytown, Mo., Mildred McCarthy, Kansas City, Mo.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons in infancy, his parents, one brother and one sister.
