Pvt. Robert A. Kahl

 

 

 

 

IMPROVEMENT

Pvt. Robert A. Kahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Kahl, former Webster City residents now living at Dexter, Minn., is making satisfactory improvement in a hospital in England after being wounded recently in action in France. Private Kahl’s left arm was broken in three places between the elbow and shoulder.

Robert A. Kahl was born May 25, 1919 to David Alfred and Madeline E. Kahl. He died Sept. 22, 1952 and is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Jackson, MI.

Pvt. Kahl served with the U.S. Army in World War II with the 33rd Armored Engineer Battalion. He was wounded in action and awarded the Purple Heart.
