Edgar William Junker, son of Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Junker, 102 Wirick apartments, has been graduated from the officer candidate division of the antiaircraft artillery school at Camp Davis, North Carolina, and has been commissioned a second lieutenant. He formerly was clerk of the city of Harlan, Iowa.

Edgar W. Junker, former employee of Galinsky Bros. Co., Sioux City, was recently promoted to captain in the coastal artillery corps.

Edgar William Junker was born Jan. 8, 1907 to Nels Peter and Louise Larson Junker. He died Feb. 24, 1949 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Capt. Junker served in World War II with the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps.
