Elver Stanley Johnson was born July 7, 1916 to Tom T. and Thorina Marie Swenumson Johnson. He died Aug. 4, 1943 and is buried in Crane Creek Cemetery, New Hampton, IA.
Sgt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. A, 10th Field Artillery, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA in the North African area.
