Arthur Weller Johnson was born Oct. 13, 1915 to Ellwood I. and Viola Xeralda Kinniman Johnson. He died Jan. 11, 1942 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga (CV-3) and was KIA at sea in the Pacific, upholding the best traditions of the Naval Service.
