Jens P. Jensen, 82, Williams, died Nov. 9, 1994 at Hamilton County Public Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Williams with the Rev. Pacifico Camarin officiating. Internment will be in Williams Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-8 pm. today at the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams and one hour prior to service Friday at the church.

Jens P. Jensen, son of Jens and Maggie (Gilbertsen) Jensen, was born April 12, 1912 in Williams. He attended the Williams Schools. He served in World War II with the U.S. Army. On Nov. 14 1954, he married Theodora Jaynes at Williams. They lived on a farm north of Williams where he farmed until retirement.

He is survived by his wife; step-son, Roger Jaynes of Cedarburg, Wis.; step-daughter, Donna Hansen of Prairie City; brothers, George Jensen of Webster City and John Jensen of Dubuque; eight step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, one brother and one step-grandson.
