Mapleton Men With the Armed Forces
Dale Jacobson expects to return to Portland, Maine, after enjoying a 15-day furlough here with his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ira Jacobson. He is a radio man in the Navy. His brother, Pvt. Don Jacobson, is now stationed at Camp White, Medford, Oregon. Both wish to thank the Civic Club for the Christmas gifts they received.

Dale Ira Jacobson was born Feb. 4, 1922 to Ira A. and Emma C. Christensen Jacobson. He died July 14, 1981 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, IA.
