Robert Douglas Ingertson was born Dec. 27, 1926 to John D. and Georgia Ingertson. He died in Oct. 24, 2010 and is buried in Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt, IA.
Petty Officer Ingertson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II as a recognition instructor with the 7th fleet training command in New Guinea.
