IN UNIFORM
Sgt. James J. Holshan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holshan, 3311 Indiana Avenue, recently received his promotion to his present rank at an Eighth air force B-17 Flying Fortress base in England. He is the armorer and gunner on a Flying Fortress and a member of the Fortress group which led the first American bombing attack on targets in Berlin and which was cited by the president for its out-standing assaults on railroad marshaling yards at Munster, Germany in October 1943.
