Thomas Arthur Hengel was born Sept. 11, 1917 to Arthur J. and Selma Hengel. He died Feb. 5, 1994 and is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
Chief Petty Officer Hengel served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
