Pvt. James Edward Harter

 

 

James Edward Harter was born Sept. 21, 1921 to Alonzo and Alma Dingman Harter. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.

Pvt. Harter served in World War II with the U.S. Army 28th Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division and died in Belgium while serving his country and was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
