Robert B. Holt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Holt of Turlock, Cal., and formerly of Ellsworth, has been awarded the purple heart, for wounds received in action in France. At the last report he was still in the hospital and getting along nicely.

BRONZE STAR.
Ellsworth—Pfc. Robert B. Holt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Holt of Turlock, Calif., formerly of Ellsworth, has been awarded the bronze star for heroic achievement. He had previously received the Purple Heart, and is now located at Belfast, Ireland, having been transferred to the AAF.
