Flight Officer Clarence William Holloway

 

 

 

Clarence William Holloway was born Feb. 18, 1922 to Fred N. and Lucille Dorothy Marshall Holloway. He died June 23, 1944 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Rockwell City, IA.

Flight Officer Holloway served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was instantly killed when his fighter plane crashed and exploded during a combat training flight. He was stationed at Seymour Johnson Field, Goldsboro, NC at the time of his death.
