Maurice, Iowa -- Sgt. William Hibma, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sip Hibma, is a member of the 56th fighter group, crack P-47 Thunderbolt outfit commanded by Lt. Col. Lucian A. Oade, Jr., which has been awarded a second distinguished unit citation for outstanding performance of duty. Sgt. Hibma is a member of the engineering section of his squadron which has been based in England.
