Elmer Oliver and Elfrieda Hansen Family - Wright Co.
Max Alfred Hansen was born Jan. 3, 1921. He died Dec. 27, 1988, and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Sgt. Hansen served with the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was assigned to the 15th Air Force, 483rd Bombardment Group as a tail gunner on a B-17 Flying Fortress in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. His awards include six Bronze Stars and the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters.
