Soldier’s Medal for Sioux Cityan
Private First Class Patrick H. Hansel of Sioux City, received special honor at a recent retreat review held in his honor at Camp Pickett, Virginia, Displaying heroism during recent maneuvers when he saved a comrade from drowning, it was his distinction to be awarded the soldier’s medal by a major general.
