Swea City Solder Wounded In Action

Swea City:  Another Swea City soldier has been wounded in action, according to word received by his relatives.  Pvt. Harry Haisman was wounded in action in Italy May 30.  He has been overseas for fifteen months, first in Africa, then in Italy.

A brother, T-5 Donald Haisman, was last heard from on Anzio beachhead.  George, John, William, Lawrence and Ted Haisman, all of Swea City, are brothers.  According to a letter received from Harry, he is making satisfactory recovery from his wounds.

News of Service Men.

Pfc. Clarence Goraczkowski, a veteran of the Italian campaigns, Cpl. Wallace Johnson of the European campaigns and Sgt. Donald Haisman, who served as tank drivers in the campaigns of North Africa, all recently home from overseas, are visiting relatives and friends.
