Wilbur Grimmius was born Oct. 2, 1916 to Mentko and Jantje “Jennie” Keiwit Grimmius. He died Feb 8, 1944 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center, IA.
Sgt. Grimmius served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and was KIA in Italy while in the service of his country.
