Alfred C. Grier

 

 


IN UNIFORM.
Alfred C. Grier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Grier, 1619 West street, received his silver wings March 11, when he graduated as a flight officer from the advanced two-engine pilot school at Pecos army airfield, Tex.  A former pupil of Central high school, he received previous flying training at Merced, Cal.

IN UNIFORM

Flight Officer Ted Grier and Alfred Grier have been honorably discharged from the service and have arrived home for a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Grier, 1619 West Street. Ted Grier served two years as flight officer with the army air corps ferrying command over Alaska, and was stationed at Great Falls, Mont.

Alfred Grier served two years with the air corps and was stationed at Greenville, S.C.
