Forrest Ray Graham was born May 15, 1915 to Charles E. and Rosetta Grandstaff Graham. He died Apr. 30, 1990 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Forrest served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Forrest “Pete” Graham, 75, Webster City, died Monday, April 30, at the Hamilton County Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the New Testament Church of Christ in Webster City, Richard Laird officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation at the Foster Funeral Home will be after 6 p.m. Thursday, May 3, until 10 a.m. Friday.

Forrest Ray Graham, son of Charles and Rosetta (Grandstaff) Graham, was born May 15, 1915, in Pleasanton, Iowa. He was educated there and in Davis City, where he graduated from Davis City High School. He farmed in the Davis City area, and later moved to Webster City.

He married Ella Blair on March 29, 1935. He was employed at Brins Furniture in Webster City for 10 years. He served with the U.S. Army in WWII in the Philippines. He was later employed at Franklin Manufacturing, now WCI, for 30 years. He retired in 1978, and continued to work part time at Franklin until 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Ella, Webster City; two daughters and a son, Linda Sahlberg, Fort Dodge; Kathie Highland and Robert Graham, both of Webster City; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, a sister, Hazel Thomas, Clarion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Forrest Graham Jr.; a daughter, Judith, in infancy; a grandson, Richard Stapp Jr.; and two sisters, Esther Helton and Fern Davis.

Mr. Graham was a member of the New Testament Church of Christ of Webster City and the U.A.W.
