Donald Richard Fladung was born Feb. 22, 1925 to John G. and Clara Greiner Fladung. He died Jan. 9, 1945 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Keota, IA.
Pvt. Fladung served in World War II with the U.S. Army 193rd Glider Infantry, 17th Airborne Division and was KIA during the Battle of the Bulge.
