Robert Thomas Emery was born Feb. 4, 1924 to Austin Francis and Rose L. Emery. He died Nov. 25, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Emery served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Liscome Bay (CVE-56) when it was sunk by the enemy near the Gilbert Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
