Lt. James Felix Emerson

 

 

James Felix Emerson was born Sept. 4, 1915 to Lloyd C. and Mary O’Day Emerson. He died Oct. 2, 1944 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.

Lt. Emerson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 734th Bomber Squadron, 453rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA in Hamm, Germany. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.
