Leslie Morrison Elliott was born July 25, 1900 to Charles H. and Lucy A. Elliott. He died Dec. 10, 1974 and is buried in Vera Cruz, Mexico. He has a cenotaph in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Pvt. Elliott served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II with the 95th and 396th Airborne Infantries.

Funeral services for Leslie M. Elliott, 74, of Vera Cruz, Mexico, were held Dec. 12 at Vera Cruz, with burial there.

Mr. Elliott died Dec. 11 at his home in Vera Cruz.

Leslie Morrison Elliott, son of Charles and Lucy Pepper Elliott, was born July 25, 1900 at Webster City.

He was reared and educated in Webster City, graduating from high school with the class of 1918. He later attended business college at Mankato, Minn.

During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army in Alaska.

In 1952, he was united in marriage to Flora Diaz of Vera Cruz and the couple had always since resided in that city.

He is survived by his widow; one step-daughter, Maria of Vera Cruz, and one brother, Harold Elliott of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist church.
