Pvt. Orlin Minard Dyvig

 

 

 

Edwin C. and Anna Olson Dyvig had three sons serving their country in World War II: Orlin Minard, Clifford Ivan, and Jerome Cyrus Dyvig.

Orlin Minard Dyvig was born Feb. 17, 1915. He died Apr. 12, 1980 in St. Petersburg, FL.

Pvt. Dyvig served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Obituary:

Orlin Dyvig, 65, of St. Petersburg, Fla., a former resident of the Stanhope and Webster City area, died Saturday after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and four grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Jerome Dyvig of St. Petersburg and Clifford Dyvig of Webster City and two sisters, Mrs. John Norman of Webster City and Beatrice Knutson of Ontario, Calif.

Also surviving is his step mother, Mrs. Wilbur Williams of Storm Lake.
