Prisoner of Japs to Be Sent Home

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Dunnington, 1119 24th Street, Tuesday night received notice from the secretary of war that their son, Pfc. George W. Dunnington, had been returned to military control after being a Japanese prisoner and soon would be brought to the United States.

Pfc. Dunnington was captured at Corregidor in 1941, and has since been a prisoner of war, held by the Japs until their surrender. So far as the family has been informed he had been held at a prison camp near Tokyo and was there when released.
