Harold George Doyle was born Dec. 6, 1901 to Francis Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Franklin Doyle. He died Mar. 13, 1984 and is buried in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Williams, IA.

Pvt. Doyle served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Harold Doyle, 82, of Twin Lakes, Wis., died Tuesday at the Hillcrest Nursing Home at Twin Lakes.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Williams with Father Louis Zee officiating and with burial in St. Mary’s cemetery.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Surls Chapel.

Harold Doyle, son of Frank and Mary Franklin Doyle, was born Dec. 6, 1901 at Williams and was reared and educated in that community.

He served with the U.S. Armed forces during World War II, and after his discharge he lived in San Gabriel, Calif. until January 1984, moving then to the nursing home in Twin Lakes, Wis.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Tom (Bernice) Dolan, Twin Lakes, Mrs. Ethel Watson of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Bernadine Butler of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
