Gets Purple Heart: in Paris Hospital
Pfc. Orval DeHarty, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.A. DeHarty, route 3, Talbot Road, has been awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action February 5 in France. In Belgium, Pfc. DeHarty also received the combat medal. He is in a hospital now in Paris, while recovering from what dispatches names a “slight wound”. His finger was injured.
