Harold George DeBow was born Aug. 6, 1921 to Floyd Harold and Lillian Safranek DeBow. He died Jan, 20, 1943 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, IA.
Pvt. DeBow served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 6th Marines, 2nd Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations on Guadalcanal.
