Woodrow William Crowder was born Oct. 12, 1918 to John and Emma Christine Anderson Crowder. He died Oct. 14, 1942 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, IA.
Sgt. Crowder served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 470th Bomb Squadron and died in a military plane crash at Richbury, S.C.
