Sergeant V. M. Craig has returned to Orlando, Florida, after a 20-day furlough visiting his wife and a new son.

Virgil Mervin Craig was born July 29 1916 to William M. and Leora Brian Craig. He died Nov. 7, 1998 and is buried in Little Sioux Township Cemetery, Smithland, IA.
Sgt. Craig served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
