Private First Class Frank A. Conway, attached to the air corps at Buckley Field, Colorado, spent a three-day furlough in the home of his mother, Mrs. Clair J. Conway, 1745 California Avenue.

Frank Allen Conway was born Nov. 2, 1917 to Frank H. and Nell Klove Conway. He died Nov. 13, 1993 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, IA.
