John Wilfred Colsch was born Apr. 29, 118 to Leo Hiller and Nellie Gertrude Luth Colsch. He died Aug. 13, 1944 and is buried in Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery, New Albin, IA.
Lt. Colsch served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corp 573rd Bomb Squadron. 391st Bomb Group. He was MIA and later declared KIA.
