Thomas Clark, 25, Sioux Cityan, Is Injured In Action

Thomas Clark, 25, a technical sergeant is the quartermaster Corps with allied forces stationed in North Africa, has been injured, his family here has been informed.

He was placed in a cast extending from the chest to his feet. The cause of the injury or its extent were not mentioned in the sergeant’s letter although he said he “was getting along fine.” He was employed in the Montgomery Ward store here.

Sergeant Clark entered the service March 15, 1942, and went overseas in June of 1942. His wife, Marianna, and their daughter, Karen Kay, reside at 1915 Allan Street.

Thomas Victor “Tom” Clark was born June 24, 1918 to George and Vera LaVern Petersen Clark. He died Nov. 15, 2005.
