Beryl Lowell Clark was born Mar. 7, 1920 to Melvin R. and Mabel Dunshee Clark. He died Jan. 11, 1945 and is buried in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA.

Pvt. Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. C, 357th Infantry and died of wounds received in action in Luxembourg.

James D. Clark was born Feb. 8, 1916 to Melvin R. and Mabel Dunshee Clark. He died Nov. 9, 1944 and is buried in Chariton Cemetery, Chariton, IA.

Lt. Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 563rd Bomb Squadron, 3rd Bombardment Division, 8th Air Force and was KIA over Fouches, Belgium. Lt. Clark was the co-pilot aboard the B-17 “Cicero Kid”. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters and Purple Heart.
