Lt. Norman V. Carlson


IN UNIFORM

First Lt. Norman V. Carlson, on completion of a 55-day leave with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.J. Carlson of Sioux City, will be discharged from the army air forces. Lt. Carlson entered the air transport service after completing 14 month’s duty as a B-24 pilot in Italy. He finished 50 missions and was awarded the distinguished flying cross, the air medal with three oak leaf clusters and the bronze and silver battle stars.
