Warren W. Callery was born Nov. 14, 1909 to Edward and Laura Ely Callery. He died Nov 2, 1989 and is buried at the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA.

Warren served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Warren W. Callery, 79, a resident at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, died Thursday evening, Nov. 2, at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient since Sept. 20. He had been in failing health for the past year. Mr. Callery was a former Webster City resident.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 6, 15 10 a.m. at the Iowa Veterans Home. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery in Marshalltown. Visitation at the Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home in Marshalltown will be from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5.

Warren W. Callery, son of Edward and Laura Ely Callery, was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Duncombe. He received his education in the Webster City schools. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II, and was later employed with Hart Carter. He became a resident at the Iowa Veterans Home in 1964.

He is survived by a sister Lauretta Callery Evans, Claremont, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Mr. Callery was a member of the Catholic Church in Duncombe.
