William Howard Butler was born Mar. 31, 1919 to Thomas A. and Alice Corinne Cox Butler. He died in July 16, 1945 and is buried in IOOF Cemetery, Indianola, IA.
Capt. Butler served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in China and died as the result of an airplane accident while in the line of duty.
