George Andrew Buck was born Mar. 21, 1917 to Allen Percy and Leone Madge Laul Buck. He died Mar. 26, 2011.
Col. Buck served with the U.S. Army in World War II as an artillery forward observer and was awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He also served in Korea with explosive ordnance disposal and was a retired Lt. Col.
